Ingredients

4 slices whole wheat bread
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 small potato (peeled & boiled)
2 small tomatoes
¾ cup grated cheddar cheese
½ small onion (optional)
½ cup cucumber
½ tspn chaat masala
Pinch of salt

How to Do

The ultimate Mumbai street food! If you love grilled sandwiches and panini's, then you need to try this sandwich. A tangy spread of mint chutney, cheese and veggies - grilled to perfection.

Utensils: Blender (for mint chutney), skillet or grill

 

Directions:

 

Step 1:

 

Make the mint chutney. Recipe here.

 

Step 2:

 

Slice the potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers. Sprinkle with salt.

 

Step 3:

 

Slather the bread with butter and follow with a layer of the mint chutney. Add slices of potatoes, tomatoes and cucumbers, add the grated cheese and sprinkle with chaat masala.

 

Step 4:

 

Finish with another slice of bread and grill in either a preheated skillet or a sandwich toaster. It's ready to serve!
