Saffron Tea Recipe

2.5 Cups Water
1 Inch Piece Ginger (slices)
¼ Lemon (sliced)
Honey to Taste (optional)
How to Do
This saffron tea is simply relaxing and refreshing. All you need is some water and a few spices like saffron, cinnamon sticks and cardamom.
Bring the water to a boil in a pot.
Add the saffron, cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon sticks. Reduce to a simmer and allow them to simmer for 3-5 minutes.
Add the lemon slices and simmer for another 3 minutes. If adding milk, whisk it in now.
Remove the cardamom, ginger, lemon & cinnamon sticks. Pour into small mugs. If adding honey or sugar, add to taste. Ready to serve!
Note: You will get some natural sweetness from the cinnamon sticks. Give your tea a taste before adding honey or sugar.
