How to Do
Tzatziki is a traditional yogurt based sauce from the Mediterranean and Middle Eastern region. Made with just a few simple ingredients like yogurt, olive oil, garlic and salt.
Utensils: large bowl
Suggested Pairing: pita, meats, veggies
Directions:
STEP 1:
Grate the cucumber over a sieve. Squeeze well to drain the excess water.
STEP 2:
Whisk the yogurt with the cucumber, the olive oil and the garlic. Season with salt. It's that simple!
Tips:
It’s important to strain the excess liquid from the cucumber otherwise the consistency of the tzatziki will be runny instead of smooth and creamy. Lastly, refrigerate for an hour before enjoying, giving you a firmer but smooth texture along with a bolder flavor!
