Saffron Tea

This saffron tea is simply relaxing and refreshing. All you need is some water and a few spices like saffron threads, cinnamon sticks and cardamom pods. One of our favorite ways to unwind after a long day.

Bring the water to a boil in a pot.


Add in the saffron, cardamom pods, ginger, and cinnamon sticks. Reduce to a simmer and allow them to simmer for 3-5 minutes.


Add in the lemon slices and simmer for another 3 minutes. If adding milk, whisk it in now. 


Remove the cardamom pods, ginger, lemon & cinnamon sticks. Pour into small mugs. If adding honey or sugar, add to taste. 

Tip: You will get some natural sweetness from the cinnamon sticks. Give your tea a taste before adding honey or sugar.
